A video of an adorable toddler giving strangers around him warm hugs has gone viral on social media.

Twitter user @_SJPeace_shared the video on his profile recently, Briefly.co.za gathered. His caption read:

His parents told him, 'It’s time to go bye-bye,' so he gave every stranger a hug. My heart. RETWEET THIS.

In subsequent tweets, @_SJPeace_ revealed that the boy's name is Jude. He is the mixed-race son of Nick and Stephanie Sasfy.

The Twitter user said Jude and his family prove that love transcends everything else, including racial backgrounds.

@_SJPeace_ was especially touched by the last hug Jude gave another toddler. He shared photos of the moment along with the caption:
