HHP’s assets to be split between late rapper’s son and Lerato Sengadi

As a customary wife of HHP, Lerato Sengadi is entitled to half of the late rapper’s belongings even though his will stated that his son, Leano Khanye would be entitled to everything.

Lerato has been fighting the late rapper’s family to recognise her as his wife, but even with the court ruling in her favour, the family refuses to acknowledge her.

Soon after HHP’s death, Lerato arrived at his home and demanded that the family turn over some of his possessions, however, they refused but now, they have no choice.

In his will, HHP had left everything to his 13-year-old son, but according to SA Music Mag, the court has overruled this so that Lerato would inherit half of his estate.

Briefly.co.za learned that shortly after the judge gave his verdict, Lerato and the police visited the late rapper’s home to change all of the locks.

Daily Sun reports that Lerato has also kicked Leano out of the home without warning by moving all of his possessions into the driveway.

When the family arrived to pick up his belongings, Lerato accused them of trespassing and a case of breaking and entering has been opened at Honeydew Police Station.
