English FA Cup champions Chelsea have reportedly shown interest in signing Lille forward Nicolas Pepe.
The 23-year-old has been superb for his French League side - scoring eight goals and creating five assists in 12 appearances so far this season.
SunSport also reveals that Manchester City wants the Ivorian striker who has been excellent in the French League.
His superb performances so far have now attracted top clubs in Europe with Pep Guardiola ready to strengthen his attack with the star according to The Times.
The former Barcelona manager might be preparing for the unexpected with Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling stalling signing new deal at the club.
Sane is said to be unhappy, while Brahim Diaz is out of contract next summer and City are keen to secure a new recruit.
Speaking this weekend, Pepe said: "We do not know what the future will be, for the moment I'm at the Lille. I have something specific to do at Lille.
"It's something that I want to do this season and then think about the next season."
But when questioned on his desire to stay at the club next season, Pepe said that: "If it's still with Jonathan Bamba, or Ikoné [Lille players] or others and it will be good for me as well."
