SA greets a soccer legend: Orlando Pirates' Oscar 'Jazzman' Dlamini dies

Orlando Pirates announced the passing of former defender, Oscar Dlamini, on Wednesday.

It is believed Dlamini died on Tuesday and the Buccaneers paid tribute to the legendary defender via social media.

The short video shows snippets of Dlamini while donning the famous black and white kit.

He was known as “Gablaas” or “Jaws” due to his ferocious tackling.

Many of his team mates feared playing against him as his tough tackling applied in training as well.

He made the SA Black XI playing at left-back.

Tweeps were impressed with the touching tribute on Twitter and passed on their condolences as well.

Talk show host, Robert Marawa, paid tribute as well.
