- Reds fans are disappointed with Adam Lallana after Liverpool's defeat to Red Star Belgrade
- They blame the England international for the loss and want the midfielder out
- Milan Pavkov scored the two goals that powered the Serbian League side to victory in the game
Liverpool fans have blasted Adam Lallana for their disappointing Champions League defeat to Serbian topflight side Red Star Belgrade.
Two quick first half goals from Milan Pavkov ensured coach Vladan Milojevic's men avenge their heavy defeat at Anfield Stadium in October.
The 24-year-old forward opened scoring for his side in the 22nd minute and barely five minutes later, he doubled his side's lead to claim their first win in the competition.
Jurgen Klopp ringed some changes to his side that drew 1-1 against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium over the weekend by starting Lallana ahead of Fabinho.
While Daniel Sturridge was preferred over Roberto Firmino in the game but the decision boomeranged as they burnt their feet in the process.
The 30-year-old midfielder was however performed below average in the Reds second defeat in the UCL this term.
And some of them took to social media to express their displeasure towards the player who was perceived to have contributed to their defeat on the night.
Jos3 (@Joe_kop) in his reaction after the game said that: "Lallana is pure garbage."
Joshua Allen (@ksjallen) in his reaction said: "Get Lallana out of my club and sign Fekir."
Another fan, JJ (@JJBLFC) also blamed the England international for the disappointing defeat: "Lallana is so useless."
Joel Rabinowitz (@joel_archie) added that it was: "Painful watching Lallana here," and LiverpoolFF (@LiverpoolFF) said: "Lallana is not good enough. Fact."
@AnfieldAn said that: "I will pay from my own bank account to terminate Lallana's contract. I'm sorry, I love him but it's no time to be sympathetic. Axe him."
It was earlier reported that Red Star Belgrade defeated Liverpool 2-0 in Tuesday's Champions League clash on Tuesday, November 6, at Rajko Mitic Stadium in Serbia.
Milan Pavkov scored two quick goals in the first half to ensure his side claim their first victory of the tournament.
After having had a poor start to their UEFA Champions League campaign and only managing to score a single goal so far, Belgrad managed to score two goals in one half.
