Prophet Paseka "Mboro" Motsoeneng has had a memorable week after receiving a R1million donation from Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.
The latter attended an event to mark Prophet Mboro's 50th birthday on Monday at the Protea Hotel in Midrand, Johannesburg, Daily Sun reports.
The leader of the Enlightened Christian Gathering pledged the donation towards #Mboro50 charity campaign, Briefly.co.za gathered.
Various dignitaries, including Midvaal mayor Bongani Baloyi and other preachers, attended the glitzy event.
Prophet Bushiri praised his colleague for always being there for the underprivileged in society. He also urged preachers to support each other.
Prophet Mboro, who leads the Incredible Happenings Ministry, was left emotional by Prophet Bushiri's generous gesture. He said:
Out of all my brothers, you are the only one who has done this. I’m used to giving instead of receiving. Being a prophet is hard.
I’ve been rejected, threatened and arrested. I was starting to think I was the dumbest man on the planet.
