Njabulo Ntombela became a social media darling when he took his Gogo up with him to gather his degree and now he is arranging a major gathering to praise her.
Ntombela went to his graduation at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and took his Gogo in front of an audience to respect her, for her lifetime of help and support.
The pictures went viral and his story spread the nation over and motivated many South Africans.
As a tribute to her, he now needs to set up a graduation gathering and birthday festivity for his Gogo and the elders within his community.
She is turning 90 in February one year from now.
As a feature of the festival, Njanulo intends to encourage his locale by giving food bundles and treats to the elderly.
At his village, huge numbers of families are guided by grandparents.
They raise the youngsters with only a state pension, sustaining them and urging them to think ambitiously.
He would like to get help with facilitating the group festivity for his senior citizens and has advanced a demand for help through the crowdfunding site, BackaBuddy.
He trusts through open cooperation, that together, South Africa can respect a little gathering of senior individuals.
