Promoter threatens legal action against Babes Wodumo for her no-show

- Babes could be facing legal action real soon if her story does not tie up

- She ditched a gig that she was booked and paid for in Leicester City and the promoter wants his money

- Initially Babes said it was due to her gogo's passing and now she is blaming the promoter himself

Babes Wodumo seems to have a slight problem with a promoter that in the process of taking her to court regarding a no-show.

Bookings were made with Babes Wodumo to perform in two different venues. One was scheduled for the 27 October in Leicester City and the other in Dublin, Ireland.

The only performance she arrived at was the one in Dublin.

It was DJ Mkhukhwini, who was responsible for the cancellation of the Leicester show. Due to this, fans were outraged.

An apology was made by Babes via social media. Her reason behind her not making an appearance was due to her gogo passing away, reported the Daily Sun.

Briefly.co.za learnt that she claims there were also problems with the promoter and warned other artists that DJ Mkhukhwini only informed her that the UK venue had not been paid.

Mkhukhwini made an apology via Facebook to all the fans that had purchased tickets. He also assured all that their money would be refunded.

There was word that Babes never even got to England. However, nothing has been proven as of yet.

It was said that there were no visas and Mkhukhwini made the trip to Mzansi to try and correct the problem.

He said that people should be made aware of who Babes really is and that she has the ability to scar promoters’ reputations

It has come to that Mkhukhwini has decided to sue Babes.

When Babes’s sister and manager, Nondumiso, was asked to comment, she said that it was on their way to the UK when they received news that their gogo has died.

Babes did not want to let her fans down and the proceeded to go to England.

On arrival, they were told that the venue had not been paid for and that Mkhukhwini still owed them money.
