Woman gets roasted for saying 'real men pay for a relationship'

The blesser relationships have become a real issue in South Africa and after a woman low-key encouraged it, tweeps had no chill.

A woman, who was identified as Hannah Sankara, took to social media to say real men pay for relationships and it sparked quite the reaction on Twitter.

She posted a photo of a basket of flowers with R100 bills stashed in it. However, it was her caption that gathered attention from tweeps.

"If he hasn’t sent you one of these, he doesn’t deserve you. Real men pay for a relationship," she wrote.

Briefly.co.za gathered tweeps quickly gave their two cents on the post- and it was clear they do not agree.

Social media user @MpongoKa wrote, "Aowa we must now pay subscription fees? Today's relationships are very expensive to maintain let me remain single bafethu ngeke."
Another tweep, @MfumoMkhekhe, commented: "This is stupid, the fact that you have influenced someone right now makes it worse. Real [men] provide for their wives and families, they don't pay relationships, together with their reasonable wives/girlfriends, they pay bills together and support one another."

One tweep, who goes by the Twitter handle @mosikijs, got personal, telling Sankara she's selling her body.
