Those who grew up and worked with him, have his interest at heart, despite the political trouble he has been in lately.

One Mandeni citizen, Khethokwakhe Mathonsi, said the people of the area will stand behind him.

He is our child. We were happy when he was appointed to the important portfolio of finance minister. Clearly the tide was against him but we still throw our weight behind him. Life is not about always eating sweets and drinking milk.
Sometimes you have to swallow bitter things yet move on with your life, otherwise you will not complete the journey ahead.

Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Gigaba has been accused of lying under oath, but refuses to step down from his post as Home Affairs Minister.

This while tongues were wagging over a kinky video of Gigaba that was leaked recently.

According to Gigaba, it is all part of a plan to ruin his political career and prevent him from ever becoming the president of South Africa.
