For all of you that have been pondering on what Mandla Ngcongwane's relationship position is, look no further. It was revealed by the actor, TV producer himself, via social media that he is not in a relationship at the present time.

Mandla is the spark and know it all behind Mzansi Magic’s Lockdown. A local newspaper, Sunday Sun, made mentioned that Mandla had moved on, which brought on the curiosity of fans of his present status.

The rumour is, according to Sunday Sun that Mandla is involved romantically with Nelisiwe Sibiya. Sibiya is the voice behind Lockdown’s theme song.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Mandla did react to the rumours by posting a message on Instagram thanking his fans for giving him girlfriends. But in the same breath he added that he needs to set the record straight that he is not involved with anyone now.

Mandla was previously married to Tumi Masemola. After 14 years of marriage, the couple as well as successful business partners, decided to call it a day.

It was a traumatic break-up for Tumi and she has said that she will not be discussing the matter.

The 36-year-old responded to the article in Drum magazine after her interview with them. In an Instagram post, she expressed her concern that she had maybe opened up a little too much regarding some issues.

As far as Mandla is concerned, he spoke exclusively with ZAlebs, stating that his energy lies with his work and children. With regards to relationships, Mandla said that this aspect of life is great but changes.

We fall in love and when that changes so does everything else. The bottom line is Mandla wants to be remembered for the amazing work he does not for his relationships.
