- The 29-year-old's form at United has dipped leading to his relegation to the bench
Manchester United star, Alexis Sanchez, is reportedly eyeing a surprise summer exit from the club just months after joining the club from Arsenal.
The Chilean forward moved to Old Trafford in a sensational swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan sign for Arsenal.
Sanchez's agent is said to be in contact with La Liga side, Real Madrid, over a potential deal that could have the winger move to the Santiago Bernabeu, Briefly.co.za gathered.
The 29-year-old's form has dipped and has struggled to make an impact with the Manchester outfit, scoring just four goals in 29 appearances.
His lacklustre performances have since forced United boss, Jose Mourinho, to relegate Sanchez to the bench, playing Anthony Martial in his place.

The move has left Sanchez furious, thereby pushing for an exit from Old Trafford, despite being the highest paid Premier League player.
Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain, are some of the top European clubs currently monitoring Sanchez's situation at United.
However, the star forward is now understood to have instructed his agent, Fernando Felicevich, to find him a different club, with Real Madrid in the frame.
Madrid would be open to signing Sanchez as they look to bolster their attacking options following Cristiano Ronaldo's exit in the summer.
