- DJ Zinhle and AKA co-parent like champions
- Even though their relationship did not workout, they remain on good terms for the sake of their daughter
- Good intentions and healthy communication are what makes Zinhle and AKA such boss co-parenting parents
AKA and DJ Zinhle are still one of Mzansi’s favourite couples even though they are no longer together. They two are a super team when it comes to parenting their baby girl.
Kairo, their daughter, is three years old now and a bundle of joy. Both AKA and Zinhle could not imagine life without her.
Although their breakup was not in the best light, the two have out their differences aside for the sake of their daughter.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Zinhle is big on having a healthy relationship with AKA for Kairo’s sake. They both have remained on good terms and sometimes, they even make us believe that there might be a change of them getting back together. A girl can only dream.
It is not always the case that parents are able to co-parent like AKA and Zinhle do. In interview with Afternoon Express on Tuesday afternoon, Zinhle said that their secret is ‘intention’.
Zinhle went on to say that “the biggest thing is communication, really”. Whenever she chats to AKA, she always has good intentions.
Both AKA and Zinhle are about the good vibes. Zinhle said that her and AKA have such a good understanding that even if something was found offensive or uncomfortable, they both know that it was said with good intentions.
AKA and Zinhle are always praising one another for the great job they are doing as parents. It is very refreshing to see that people are able to put their child first and respect one another for their role as a parent even though they may not have been the greatest partner.
Living by good intentions is what allows Zinhle and AKA to remain in such a good space, especially for Kairo. They both want their daughter “to have an easy and comfortable life”.
Intentions are definitely the key here and it works. Zinhle and AKA co-parent like bosses. Kairo is one lucky little girl.
