Macks Papo has been on our screens for a long time, and we've seen him in shows like Isibaya, Egoli and Skeem Saam. Macks admits that he speaks his mind and that sometimes leads to clashing with TV crew members.
Macks Papo has been on some of the biggest TV shows in Mzansi and knows his way around cameras.
That doesn't mean he never had any trouble with crew members, even after more than 20 years in the industry.
According to a report by TimesLIVE, Macks admitted that he speaks his mind and that sometimes gets him into trouble.
Macks says if he gets the feeling that producers are disrespecting him or there are too many clashing between them, he'll simply leave.
The veteran actor learned to speak his mind a long time ago. He says he learned that he doesn't need to take the blame for something he's not involved in, like bad ratings and trouble on set.
When thing go wrong on a production, do you know the first person they blame? Actors! I am the type of person that says 'No. Let's sit down and look at the root of the problem'. Everywhere I go I speak truth to power and authority.
Macks says he also questions everything - from the direction of scenes to scripts. He added if he feels like something does not resonate with his soul, he will move on from it.
The actor recently admitted that he was the victim of the crazy behaviour of two stalkers for nearly a year.
Briefly.co.za reported that Macks found out one of the stalkers were living under his roof and ended their relationship. He gave the stalkers a deadline before which they must apologise to him.
