- California twins suffered miscarriages recently
- Their fortunes turned around and they both gave birth on the same day
- Their incredible story has gone viral around the world
A pair of 23-year-old twins in California, United States, gave birth to adorable daughters on the same day recently.
Doctors had set Bao Kou Julie Yang and Bao Nhia Julia Yang's due dates just two days apart, parent24.com reports.
However, both went into labour on 4 November. Bao Kou was the first to welcome her daughter Nadalie. Less than two hours later, Bao Nhia welcomed baby Candra.
Bao Kou described the stunning coincidence as a miracle:
We both weren’t expecting this, to say the very least. I was definitely in shock, but I was happy for the both of us. It’s really a miracle.
Both sisters suffered miscarriages not too long ago within months of each other, Briefly.co.za learned. They said this experience brought them even closer together.
Nadalie is Bao Kou's first child while Candra is Bao Nhia's third. To cap it off, the sisters shared the same hospital ward soon after delivery.
The twins' story has made headlines around the world. The community hospital where they gave birth shared their photo and commenters congratulated them. One wrote:
Baby cousins sharing the same birthdays just like their mommies! Congratulations!
