Bonang Matheba seems in happy spirits as her court case over alleged tax fraud got postponed again. Bonang told journalists that life is good and that she's feeling very positive while smiling happily.
Businesswoman and TV star, Bonang Matheba looked calm and happy as she left the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on 14 November.
Despite facing allegations of tax invasion, South Africa's Queen B is smiling and looking as fabulous as ever.
The SowetanLIVE reports that Bonang's lawyer, Charl Coetzee, told the court that her legal team is busy making representations and in the middle of discussions.
Based on this, Coetzee asked for the case to be postponed until 27 November, and the court granted the request.
Bonang is accused of not paying her personal taxes between 2008 and 2017, as well as failing to pay company tax between 2014 and 2017.
Briefly.co.za reported on how Bonang vehemently denied the tax evasion claims when it first surfaced.
According to the star's manager, the matter is just about sorted out and that she's working with a team to fix everything.
She has appointed the right team to meet with SARS to resolve this. Bonang is a law-abiding citizen, and this is a matter she takes very seriously.
How much Matheba needs to pay is not clear yet. She failed to appear in court on 27 September, but her legal team said it was because she wasn't in the country at the time.
