When one is continually been harassed with regards to your personal life, it is always a blessing when you have a friend on your side. Kelly Khumalo, a local singer, has TV presenter Penny Lebyane watching her back.

The latest news with Kelly and rapper Chad da Don's alleged affair, has sent social media into a frenzie.

Kelly has had bad luck with past relationships and the blame has been put solely on her for the break-ups and comments have gone as far as to say she is “cursed”.

With the affiliation between Kelly and Chad becoming rather steamy, trolls are having their say and telling Chad to be very cautious of Kelly.

Briefly.co.za learnt that, in retaliation, Kelly has hit back on a number of occasions at the trolls insults. This week, however, Kelly has found a friend in Penny.

Penny took to Twitter to speak her mind of the Kelly/Chad saga. As we all know, Penny does not mince her words.

She commented that people go out of their way to slander others by saying bizarre things. She has never known spirits whether they are close or far to be resilient, amazing souls, kind hearted beings, responsible daughters.

Penny needed to have one last say. She advised other celebs to take note and said that they can teach their favourites a thing or two.

The response from fans was a positive one. They showed full support of Penny’s comments and said it was time that the truth be preached!
