5 Genius pieces of advice men gave single women over 30

South African men have dished out useful pieces of advice for women, who are still single after the age of 30.

So much pressure is placed on women to settle down at a young age and start a family. However, not everyone is lucky in love and some prefer to focus on their careers first.

Regardless of why women are single, sometimes doubt creeps in on the possibility of ever finding Mr Right.

So, to put the lonely ladies at ease, Briefly.co.za decided to ask our male readers what advice they have for the single women over the age of 30.

"What is your advice to ladies who are above 30 years and still single," our question read.

Briefly.co.za found some of our male readers gave excellent pieces of advice and we decided to gather five of the best.

1. Spoil yourself

Siya Makala wrote: "Focus on your career, be the best at what you do and spoil yourself."

2. Don't be desperate

Eugene Piet commented: "Work hard be a good woman is standing....by that I mean don't be desperate it's not over yet...put a beautiful smile on ur face focus more on ur self...God loves you!!"

3. Materialistic things are not the priority, love is

It is important to have someone who could take care of you. But, money and materialistic things are not the most important things in a relationship.

4. Be patient, God has His own time

Contradictory to many people's beliefs, there is specific age at which a woman should tie the knot. Social media user Thobeka Ndlovu wrote God has a purpose for each lady's life and a hubby would come at the right time.

5. Don't disqualify a guy based on age

Now, a lot of ladies do not want a Ben 10, but, age is not necessarily connected to maturity. As long as the age is of age, it would not hurt giving him a shot.
