Thabo Motsoane is the man behind an innovative new sock brand filled with bright colours and cultural motifs.
Future Socks is making waves thanks to its vivid colours and African-inspired designs.
The company’s founder, Thabo Motsoane, has always had a passion for socks.
As a child, he often spent his pocket money on expanding his sizeable collection of socks.
What sets them apart is that the designs are not restricted to cultural motifs only, but they offer a customisation option as well.
Resisting the temptation to give in to investors or applying for loans, Motsoane has funded the business from his own pocket.
Sowetan Live reported that Mosoane still works in the corporate world and is using his network there as a means to build contacts for Future Socks.
Briefly.co.za understands that Future Socks has been invited to showcase their products at the 2019 Fashion Week.
Motsoane said, “There were people from SA Fashion Week who saw our product and impressed with our quality and that’s when they decided they will include us in their next trade event.”
