Muzi Mthabela is very aware that many people look up to him in Mzansi and he has revealed that he won’t act in scenes with alcohol so that he can be a good role model. The actor also admits that he will push writers to change the script if it is not in line with his values.
When he joined the cast of ‘Isibaya’, Muzi stressed to the show’s writers that he will not do any scenes where alcohol is involved as it goes against what he believes in.
It’s not unusual for celebs to have specific requirements that need to be met before they agree to work on a project and they can be completely ridiculous at times, but that’s not the case for Muzi.
According to ZAlebs, the actor is a very simple man and as long as writers keep alcohol out of his scenes, he’s happy.
As many youths look up to him, Muzi wants them to see him as a respectable man and that drinking alcohol is not as glamorous as it is made out to be in many TV shows and movies.
Briefly.co.za learned that Muzi is a strong advocate for education and he also pushes his fans to learn new skills or to spend more time reading books to help get them further in life.
