Idols SA is over and the winner was chosen - Yanga Sobetwa. It was a tough final, and Thato was also a crowd favourite. Yanga's amazing final performance was spine-tingling, and tweeps were happy to congratulate her.

The 17-year-old from Delft, Cape Town was overjoyed when her name echoed through the building as she was announced as the winner of the 14th season of Idols SA.

The talented young woman melted hearts when she gave Thato Makape a compassionate hug.

The final performances reminded South Africans why they tuned in every Sunday to experience the talents of two young artists.
