France international Antoine Griezmann has unveiled an incredible pair of boots he will wear ahead of his nation's friendly clash.

The World Cup champions will hots the South American nation on Tuesday night, November 20 for the tie, with Griezmann expected to lead France's attack-line.

As part of his preparations, the French striker has resolved to sport a pair of boots featuring the flags of France both and Uruguay.

According to a report by Goal.com, Griezmann made the decision owing to his immense respect and admiration for Uruguay.

The report further noted Griezmann's love affair with Uruguay is no secret, with the phenomenon starting from the forward's very first days as a professional.

At the time, upon arriving at La Liga side Real Sociedad as a teenager, the player fell under the wing of Carlos Bueno who instilled a lot passion for Uruguay in him.

The 27-year-old struck a deep, lasting friendship with Uruguay defender Diego Godin when the duo linked up at Atletico Madrid.

Godin went on to become the godfather to Griezmann's daughter.

During the World Cup, Griezmann courted controversy in France after failing to celebrate his goal against the South American nation in Les Bleus' 2-0 victory in the quarter-finals.
