This petit young lady stems from Bishops Lavis in Cape Town and on the 4 June 2018 her single, Angifuni, made over 1 million views in a period of just 6 months.
Better known as Paxton, she is a South African singer-songwriter and Winner of Season 13 Idols South Africa. It has been officially considered that Paxton is the youngest South African female idol to ever win this title. She totally exceeded her fans expectations.
Let it be known, this young songstress has a will of her own. Her passion and desire for her talent will never allow her to fall into the category of forgotten winners. The drive she has is phenomenal, which led her to writing her very own album.
Briefly.co.za gathered that she always wanted to better herself, Paxton has made the effort to be in the same circles as top musicians in order for her to gain a tight music team within the industry. This has also enabled her to expose her music across the board. There was much anticipation in the air before the release of debut album in June 2018.
The hit song Smother, by Craig Lucas also had Paxton’s input. The track is dictating South African charts after its introduction to iTunes Pop Chart.
Paxton’s stage presence is one of beauty and extreme talent. She has the ability to own the stage and take full control from interpreting a ballad and moving straight into a pop number. Her versatility was shown during her perform with her debut hit single Demonstrate.
She has also been a representative for South Africa when was awarded the title of Ambassador for Queen Silivia’s You me:Equal Rights Campaign.
Paxton was giving an invitation to be part of The World Children’s Prize Foundation in Sweden in April this year. The campaign is to raise awareness for children’s right across the world.
