Video shows cops aggressively arresting woman and it has SA divided

A video was posted on social media which showed two police women shoving another lady in the back of their van. However, the footage left South Africans divided.

Video footage of two female cops has sparked quite the debate on Twitter about police brutality. The clip, which was shared on Twitter by Ofentse Setimo, showed the cops aggressively handling the lady they arrested.

The SABC news reported captioned the post: "Police watchdog, #IPID is investigating this incident of alleged #PoliceBrutality that took place in Pretoria West two weeks ago."

Briefly.co.za learned South Africans had different opinions regarding the video and even EFF leader Julius Malema weighed in.

According to Juju, there was nothing wrong with the cops' actions since they were merely doing their jobs.

Malema was not alone as many other South Africans echoed his sentiments.

However, there were those who condemned the manner in which the cops handled the lady.
