The EFF has set their targets on Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan once again. Julius Malema, leader of the party took the opportunity outside the state capture commission on Tuesday to continue his attack on Gordhan.

Speaking to protesting EFF supporters, Malema accused the minister of “ hating Africans”.

Julius cited his questions aimed at ex-president Zuma as to why “minorities’ were the preferred candidates for the position of finance minister as the reason for Gordhan’s hatred of the EFF, but particularly of himself.

“Since that time it has been evident that Pravin does not like me but his hatred does not end there. Now Pravin has gone into all state-owned entities and removed all the black excellence because he hates black people,” said Malema

“When you fight against Pravin you must be ready ... there will be casualties ... there might even be a loss of life,” he continued.

Malema also said that he would decline to speak to mainstream media until they questioned the minister about his daughter’s her business interests. He accused her of being a part of corrupt schemes within the government.

He further alleged that the minister fought “dirty” against people he saw as a threat to his “looting which is far greater than the looting that was being done by the Guptas”.

According to the notorious EFF leader Gordhan is in the same league as “white monopoly capitalists Johann Rupert and the Oppenheimers” but reassured his followers that he wasn’t afraid of white people and would “handle” them.

While giving testimony at the inquiry Gordhan once again appealed to anyone with any evidence of his wrongdoing to present it before the commission and testify under oath. He went on to say that being a minister was a calling to him, not a business.

“I have never been party to state capture as those outside this forum would like to have you believe. I have never been manipulated by anyone [in order to do them any favours] or manipulated anyone myself for my own gain,” said Gordhan.

Malema further said the answer as to “why is Pravin [Gordhan] rotten? It was because they come from the same tree called the ANC. They are in the same WhatsApp group with Jacob Zuma”.

The leader went on to say that the ANC was on the verge of implosion and that it was due to a lack of principles. “Today Dali Mpofu is representing Supra Mahumapelo’s faction of the ANC in court. We are happy when such things happen because this fuels confusion within the ruling party,” he said.

The reason the EFF is taking on Gordhan? According to Malema, their aim was to expose the corruption within the ruling party and as a result, bring the ANC to its destruction. He also claimed that his party had no personal reason for their attacks on the minister.

“We are fighting monopoly capital. Zuma stood between us and white monopoly capital and we had to remove Zuma. Our attack on Pravin is an attack on white monopoly capital because Pravin is the dog of monopoly capital. We will beat him until the master takes heed of what we have to say,” he added.
