Sjava has come out to apologise to his fans after learning that he was advertised to have performed at a gig that he had no idea about.

Fans were angry that the musician failed to show up on the evening, however, Sjava claims that it was a scam.

Over the past weekend, Sjava was allegedly booked to perform at BK’s Lifestyle Lounge in Johannesburg, however, he disappointed a lot of his fans by not taking to the stage.

Sjava says that he knew nothing about the show and his record label, Ambitiouz Records has also defended the rapper by saying that he had never been booked to perform at the pub.

The BET award winner has sent his sincerest apologies to everyone who had paid to see him, however, it had all been a scam and that the posters they had seen were completely fake.

Daily Sun reports that Andre Lekota from the pub is standing by claims that the lounge had gone through Drago Events Solutions, who were responsible for hiring Sjava and they have used this company for all of their gigs.

Lekota claims that the money had also been paid to Sjava, but he did not know that the musician had never received the payment or heard from the booking agent.

By the time Lekota realised that he had been scammed, it was too late and Drago events refused to answer any of his calls.

Briefly.co.za learned that Sjava’s record label have been circulating the poster since they found out about the incident and they are doing their best to make it known that it had been faked.
