SA’s Father Christmas seen at traffic lights giving gifts, goes viral

A Facebook user shared a picture and post of a man handing out gifts to the needy at a traffic intersection and South Africa has praised the Good Samaritan.

Amid all the negative news, it’s heart-warming to see feel-good stories shared in South Africa as well.

A Bryanston resident, by the name of Carol Liebenberg, did just that as she shared a photo in a community Facebook group.

It was accompanied with a post explaining that she drove behind a man down Main road and witnessed him spreading the Christmas cheer by handing out gifts randomly to strangers.

She went on to add that he sets a perfect example on how South Africans should be treating each other.

The post was seen by thousands in the group and many praised the man for his generosity.

Briefly.co.za noted that residents linked the goodwill gesture to the spirit of Christmas.

Edwin Rudman pointed out: “He just started what Christmas actually means , we must do that as well all of us.”
