On Friday, thousands of South Africans waited for stores across the country to open their doors as the 2018 Black Friday kicked off.

Cities and Towns across South Africa have turned into madhouses as citizens geared up to get their hands on the biggest retail specials on the year.

Some reports indicated people have been waiting since the early morning hours to get a head start once the retailers open for business on 23 November.

Videos of the rush on #BlackFriday morning have since trended on social media and those who are not participating were left shocked.

So, Briefly.co.za decided to gather five crazy videos of the 2018 #BlackFriday in South Africa.

1. Game retailer in Port Elizabeth

Social media user @Apetown_Bru shared a video which showed a wave of people rushing into the Game store in Port Elizabeth.

4. People getting trampled at another Game Store

Another video, which was filmed at a Game store, made its way on social media. The video showed a lady being dragged out the way of shoppers who are storming into the store.
