Black Twitter has been a growing community and its 2nd Black Twitter Awards was an online event not to be missed.

There were a lot of awards to give and Inno had a blast as the charming and funny host of the social media event of the year.

Bonang and blogger/commentator Phil Mphela's Twitter war has been hectic, to put it nicely. The two went at each other and it got messy.

Queen B and Phil haven't made up yet and there's doubt that they ever will.

With that said, these two deserved the award.

Of course, these two weren't the only winners, so Briefly.co.za made a quick list of a few other Black Twitter Award winners:

Vlogger of the Year Award - @Thefunnychef .
Skaba Hemisa Award - Mihlali Ndamase
Scandal of the Year Award - Malusi Gigaba
Controversy of the Year Award - @AdvBarryRoux
