It has been just a day since Briefly.co.za reported a homeless domestic worker and her kids needed help to find better living conditions, and already their lives have turned around.

After social media user @omohtee12 posted heartbreaking photos of a mother and her kids living in an abandoned building with not even a bed to sleep on, social media users came together to help the struggling family.

On Thursday, @omohtee12 gave tweeps a happy update on the family's new living arrangements.

"Hey guys remember this tweet yesterday? I’m proud to announce to you that Grace now has an apartment!....an apartment & mattress was gotten 4 her today. Thanks to everyone that reached out to us and donated," she wrote in a follow-up post.
