The South African Deputy President finally returned to the country after enjoying some time on his sick leave in Russia.

Mabuza was seen answering questions in Parliament to the best of his ability on 22 November- however, the People's Bae made him confused with one of his questions.

The EFF's Mbuyiseni Ndlozi pointed out that Eskom was selling units to the poor for far less than they purchase it. So, he wanted to know how Eskom would manage to sustain itself if it makes no profit.

However, Mabuza understood the question completely wrong, thinking Ndlozi accused Eskom of ripping off the poor. He told Ndlozi his question was 'logically wrong'. It did not take the EFF spokesperson long to correct the deputy president and a video of the incident has since made its way on social media.

"What is David Mabuza smoking? This man should go home & rest. He’s tired after a long trip from Russia," Man's Not Barry Roux captioned the video.
