An attack on a mosque in Khayelitsha, Cape Town left one man dead and another injured. The police confirmed that an imam was injured and another man shot and killed.
It is reported the attack happened on Tuesday, 20 November at around 7 pm at a mosque in Ntlazane Road.
News24 reports that when the police arrived on the scene, they found the victims with gunshot wounds.
According to reports, 4 men opened fire while worshippers were praying. A 30-year-old man was wounded fatally and died on the scene.
The imam was rushed to hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.
At this time, the police have not made any arrests yet.
