President Ramaphosa says South Africa must stand behind Public Enterprises Minister, Pravin Gordhan.
The president feels that since Gordhan stands up against corruption, he should be protected by the country.
As reported by EWN, Gordhan has been criticised by many people, especially politicians, in recent weeks.
President Ramaphosa says that he stands by Gordhan, and hopes the rest of South Africa will too.
Pravin Gordhan, who very bravely, stood up and told the truth about what he has gone through. Our task is to support and defend people like Pravin Gordhan and a number of others that are going to come forward.
This comes after Julius Malema and the EFF have intensified their campaign against Gordhan, taking shots at his daughter, Anusha Gordhan, as well.
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that the ANC's Chief Whip, Jackson Mthembu, wondered why the ruling party hasn't come to Gordhan's defence earlier.
