Inspiring man raised in rural KwaZulu-Natal can’t wait to graduate

An inspiring young student took to Twitter recently to share his amazing journey from being a rural boy to a soon-to-be graduate.

Sizwe Ntanzi shared a picture of himself on his followers and accompanied it with the caption:

I was born and raised in a deep rural area called MSINGA in KZN. I never thought that one day I will be a #UCT graduand. I'm looking forward to receive my PGDA from @FabAcademic in April 2019. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE BLACK CHILD. #MakeEducationFashionable.

According to his Twitter bio, Sizwe aspires to be a Chartered Accountant. Obtaining his Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting is therefore the first step to realising his goal.

His profile also reveals that he is a big fan of University of Cape Town's Vice-Chancellor, Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng, and can't wait for her to confer his diploma on him.

Sizwe's story inspired hundreds of tweeps and picked up more than 1,300 likes in the process. Many commenters congratulated him for his progress so far and wished him well.
