A tweet revealed pictures of a badly damaged multi-million rand Ferrari after it had crashed on Sunday but tweeps were on hand to mock its owner.
The lavish super car was seen being towed away outside of a Houghton golf course in Johannesburg.
It was reported that the driver misjudged a roundabout and crashed at high speed.
Briefly.co.za gathered the model to be the 488 Spider, which has a market value of R5,8 million.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported but early indications are that the car may have been written off.
To rub salt into the wound, tweeps were quick to poke fun at the incident and the wealthy car owner.
The initial tweet was shared by REZA (@crimeairnetwork).
Twitter user, @Maswanganye, asked if it was a case of ‘written off in 60 seconds’.
Then tweep, @Durbsviking, sarcastically added that it should polish out.
