- Phindile refuses to give up, she will get her late uncles compensation.
- Ntando refused, again, to pay any compensation, eventhough Kgothalo advised him to.
- Sechaba has agreed to help Phindile sue the Sibeko's for what is rightfully due to her and her family.
As Phindile put forward to Sechaba last night, she is going after the Sibekos for compensation, and she will not rest until she gets fair and equal treatment.
Ntando has previously stated that they will not be paying anything to Phindile, however, it seems that thing may be taking a turn in her favour.
Phindile was speaking to the other miners about her uncle and they all state what a loyal and good man he was. It shocked them that no compensation was being paid as other family had received lumps sums when their family members passed due to the incident.
Briefly.co.za saw Ntando meet up with Kgothalo. He ran the Phindile situation past her and she agreed that it was tricky, but that paying the compensation, was the right thing to do.
Despite the sound advice given by Kgothalo, Ntando still refuses to pay any compensation to Phindile and her family.
After loosing her job to care for her uncle, Phindile cannot afford to walk away empty handed. She has school fees to pay for her siblings and food to put on the table.
While discussing the matter with Sechaba, Phindile states that she is now forced to do the extreme. She is going to sue the Sibekos for compensation and she is asking the mayor, Sechaba, to help her.
Sechaba agreed to help her. He feels her pain and wants to help settle this injustice act made by the Sibekos.
