So many women rely on men to provide, and, although society took a couple of steps forward in empowering women, we still have a long way to go.

However, every now and then ladies come along who inspire the rest of us- proving that not having a bae is not the end of the world.

Briefly.co.za gathered Musa is one of those ladies. Without a boyfriend to help her, the beautiful woman managed to buy her very own apartment.

"Kwam. In my ground floor apartment that I bought without a man. The mastandi look is good on me," she captioned a photo of herself.

Musa's post inspired other women, who congratulated her on making it on her own.

Linda, who goes by the Twitter handle @LNyati commented: "Emphasis on 'WITHOUT A MAN' is quite necessary. Those who don’t know why will catch up later. 'Zisebenzele Ghel!'"
Another tweep, @DubeTina, added: "Us who understand the importance of "without a man", just understand. Proud of you."
