The case of Nicholas Ninow, a man accused of raping a 6 year old girl at a family restaurant in Silverton, has been postponed until the 15th of January 2019.
The accused will be taken to Weskoppies for a psychiatric evaluation on the mans mental capacity.
Protesters outside the Gauteng court were demanding that the accused should not be allowed out on bail.
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Nicholas has a 19-year-old fiancée who is pregnant with his child. According to friends, the engagement has been broken.
Nicholas appeared in the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court on charges of drug possession and rape, and he remains in custody.
