Twitter reacts to man who said he'll pay his future wife a salary

Tweeps were left divided after a man took to social media to say he would pay his future wife a salary because it was hard being a woman.

All men have a different view on how to properly treat his spouse- some believe flowers and gifts are the key while others simply rely on their love.

However, social media user @tenth_top took to Twitter on Thursday to share his views on what women deserve in a relationship.

"When I get married, I will be paying my wife salary because being a woman is not easy," he wrote.

Briefly.co.za gathered tweeps were divided on his post- some felt he was being too dramatic while other agreed women needed to be treasured and a salary is a good start.

Olori Affirmantin, who goes by the Twitter handle @Themy25, commented: "@Umm_AQeelah Easier said than done. Na so every man go dey hype his future relationship. Don't make us promises you can't keep. Appreciate, respect and take good care of us. Being us no easy. Bros keep in mind that money for housekeeping and Salary are different ooo."

Some of the ladies were so impressed with his post, they ended up proposing.
