John W Henry who owns the Liverpool football club, owns an expansive luxury mansion worth $25 million, Briefly.co.za explores the 69-year-old's Boca Raton home
Roman Abrahamovic recently made headlines with his £340 million propery portfolio.
Abrahamovic is regarded as one of the richest club owners in the world due to his net worth.
Club owners with huge financial muscles can't be mentioned without Liverpool's owner John W Henry.
According to Mirror.co.uk, John W Henry has enjoyed quite a year: his beloved Boston Red Sox won the World Series and Liverpool fell just short of winning the Champions League.
The American businessman has backed Jurgen Klopp's side with further investment since then, pushing the Reds closer to Manchester City and positioning themselves to be in the thick of the title picture.
Henry, now shifting focus to Anfield due to baseball's off season, is looking to sell his Florida mansion.
The 69-year-old's Boca Raton home could fetch him $25m (£19.6m) if he has his way.
Henry and wife Linda Pizzuti's home has more than 27,000 square feet, including seven bedrooms and 19 bathrooms.
Prospective buyers can look forward to their own recording studio, outdoor wood-burning pizza oven, a movie theatre and an underground wine cellar ready to stock 1,000 bottles.
Henry is known for the success he has overseen on the pitch, but should he complete a sale of one of his beloved properties, it would represent one of his best deals to date.
That's because he made the Florida home his own 27 years ago for just $850,000 - worth at the time around £450,000.
Recent speculation has suggested Henry and Fenway Sports Group (FSG) could consider offers for Liverpool - having taken over the club for £300m in 2010.
And Henry made it clear, after heartache vs Real Madrid in the Champions League final, that he intends to oversee the remainder of the journey as the Reds bid for glory at home and in Europe.
“Yeah, Kiev was painful,” Henry admitted. “But getting to the Champions League final, you could say we were a little ahead of schedule.
“I think that Jurgen [Klopp] has solved our defensive issues and we are really strong at the back and in midfield, and everyone knows how good we are upfront.
“[Liverpool] as well is a very special team, and it could be a special season."
