There are so many beautiful things about South Africa, but one thing that most of us cannot handle, is the sound of Hadedas squawking at the most inappropriate times. International artist, Pharrell Williams, had his first Hadeda experience and it was priceless.
Briefly.co.za saw that the international star was rudely woken by South Africa’s most hated bird, the Hadeda. For someone who is not from here, it can be a rather awkward to hear as they sound like they are choking on something or under attack.
Taking to his Instastory, Pharrell posted a series of videos asking people what the hell this awful noise was. He knew they were birds, but the sound is something that foreigners are definitely not accustom to. His facial expressions are priceless.
Mzansi citizens were shook with laughter. It seems so normal to us, so seeing an international star react in this manner, had Mzansi in stitches.
