Shivambu warns against trusting the ANC's promises after load shedding woes

The Economic Freedom Fighter's Floyd Shivambu has shared an old video of Jacob Zuma saying there would never be load shedding again and used it as the perfect example of why not to trust the ANC

The deputy president of the Economic Freedom Fighters has spoken out about the load shedding plaguing the nation in a recent Tweet.

Shivambu called out the ANC on its empty promise of never putting the country through this situation again with a video of ex-president Jacob Zuma promising that there would never be load shedding ever again.

"Ex-President said there will never be load shedding again, and now it's back. Reality is that the people of South Africa must never ever trust the ANC with long term planning and solutions. They live for now and have no clear vision for the future!" said Shivambu in his Tweet.

Shivambu might not be too far from the truth of the matter with Ted Blom, an energy expert having recently pointed the finger at the ANC for being a large part of the problem at Eskom.

Briefly.co.za has recently reported that Blom had blamed the ruling party for not allowing vacancies at the power entity to be filled by qualified professionals . The ANC had elected to put members of the party into key positions instead.

People from all across the country have been struggling to go about their daily lives whilst being plagued by constant black outs. Businesses in particular have been hard hit, struggling to keep customers happy with the power off.
