It is not often that a music legend leaves us before death takes them. Mzansi musicians decided to come together, as one, to celebrate the incredible moments and timeless contributions that music legend, Johnny Clegg has given us.

Briefly.co.za has learnt that, after an incredible 40 odd years of blessing Mzansi with music that has sung, and still sings, songs of purpose, Johnny Clegg has sadly closed the door.

Pancreatic cancer hit him in 2015. He is currently in remission, but had to make the tough decision to tone things down.
