The family wrote:

I, Nadia Duvenage Jooste, Naka Drotske, Os du Randt, Hannelie Du Randt and Marzanne Drotske want to thank these two people so much!
It was Mudal & Pretty that stopped and rushed Naka to hospital when Os jumped in front of their car after the Fortuner's tyres burst.
We are all so quick to judge these days & to think most people are bad, but there are still good people out there that are willing to help others in need. All cultures, from whichever city or town, to Townships, are experiencing crime & fear.
Steven Drotske, thanks to you also for finding these two heroes, who were willing to stop in these dangerous times. Naka thanked them personally today.
We strongly believe that he would not have made it if they did not stop to rush him off to hospital.
