Fact check: Anisha Gordhan and co. not linked to any treasury tenders

The Julius Malema vs Pravin Gordhan has been dragging for some time. Mostly, it was just fingers pointed and allegations made, but Malema recently took it further and dragged in Gordhan's daughter, Anisha. However, according to the National Treasury, Anisha's innocent.

The EFF and its leader, Julius Malema has been after Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan for a long time, trying their best to prove their allegations against him.

So far, they have not exactly succeeded. Malema recently went after Gordhan's daughter, Anisha, claiming she scored her father massive tenders worth about R80 million.

But, as reported by News24, there has been no evidence to prove any wrongdoing from Anisha. In fact, all the evidence points to her innocence.

National Treasury stated that it did not award tenders or contracts to the 24 companies that Anisha is linked to.

About two weeks ago, Investec also responded to Malema and the EFF's allegations and released a statement denying any truth to it, as reported on by Briefly.co.za.

In conclusion, the EFF and Malema went after a person that seems completely innocent.
