The end of 2018 has seen students graduating from university after facing numerous challenges in their journeys.
Professor of Mathematics at the UCT started a movement at the Cape Town university, encouraging students to share their victorious graduations and inspire others by making education fashionable in the country.
Her movement has enjoyed resounding success after Al Jazeera picked up on their hashtag and shared a video on Twitter.
The thrilled students took to social media to share pics of their graduation and small snippets of their story to encourage aspiring people to follow their dreams, no matter how improbable it may seem at the time.
The movement had Mzansi's graduates blowing up Twitter with their victories and sharing details on the obstacles they had faced in their journey to better themselves.
What an inspiration! Congratulations to all the graduates and good luck to all those who aspire to one day obtain their own degrees!
