The enormous 89kg animal touched hearts with its one of a kind stature and gigantic muscles.

Kangaroo Sanctuary located in Alice Springs Australia announced the untimely death of the famous kangaroo driving its fans to flock with messages of condolence.

Most netizens described the animal as an icon and a beautiful boy that would forever remain etched in their minds and hearts.

Roger was rescued as a baby after his mother died in a car accident on the highway, learned.

At the time of the accident, Roger was tucked inside his mother’s pouch but remained unharmed throughout the whole ordeal.

The kangaroo became an overnight sensation back in 2015 after a viral video of him punching and crushing a metal bucket made rounds on social media.

In 2016, it was reported Roger was suffering from a severe case of arthritis and poor eyesight.
