Briefly.co.za provides an important update here on a previous report indicating wedding chaos in East London, South Africa.

On 3rd December, the below tweet was posted by user, @AdvBarryRoux, claiming to be scenes at a wedding in East London, where a jilted ex-girlfriend crashed the wedding with her friends.

The popular post attracted 3 000 likes and more than 500 comments.

It has since emerged that 2 major factors were incorrect – it was not a wedding and the event did not take place in South Africa at all.

The twitter user could be forgiven for the misunderstanding relative to the location as News 24 report the incident took place in East London, England.

Interestingly, Briefly.co.za noted in our initial article that some of the details surrounding the post were questionable and some tweeps were in agreement.

While some questioned the nationality of those in the video and the location, most accepted the wedding at face value and were in shock.

However, the latest revelation is that the scenes were in fact following a concert.

Fans were eagerly anticipating a performance by Ugandan singer, Vinka, but were left enraged as she failed to appear on stage.

Via an Instagram post, she apologised for her absence due to a contractual dispute with the event promoter.
