To be featured in British Vogue magazine, especially as a South African, is a momentous achievement. Nakhane Touré has done it!

Briefly.co.za learnt that the incredible artist and actor will be featured in the January 2019 edition of British Vogue magazine.

After his outstanding performances at two prestigious international events earlier this year, AfroPunk in Paris and again in New York, he has made a name for himself on an international level.

Nakhane took to social media to announce the incredible news. His focus in his feature is based around the rise of LGBTQ+ visibility in pop music, something extremely close to his heart.

Olly Alexander, MNEK, Mikaela Straus aka King Princess, and Nimmo, are who Nakhane will be featured alongside. What a wow, to be put into the same standing as legends like that, is something else.

This came as a very ‘unexpected present’ to Nakhane. He is so deserving of this feature, and the exciting thing is, this is only the start.
