Meet Tumi Mahapa, the inspirational woman who went from being a struggling single mother to a successful career in real estate.
Mahapa tied the knot at the fairly young age of 23.
Unfortunately, married life was a struggle and she found herself being unhappy.
Mahapa took the brave decision to walk away from the cars and home and to raise her baby as the marriage fell apart.
Briefly.co.za gathered that she was determined to start with a clean slate as she left her old life behind.
At the time, Mahapa dropped out during her final year of study at Regenesys Business School.
While looking after her 6-month-old infant, she embarked on the wonderful world of real estate.
She now takes pride in helping single women to fulfil their dreams of owning a home.
Sowetan Live reported that she joined the Galencia Property estate agency.
Mahapa says, “I found that most of my clients would be divorced women or single mothers, and I found that is my way of mentoring in my career.”
She revealed there were numerous times when she felt like giving up but her son provided all the motivation she needed.
Mahapa encourages young females to always know their worth.
She hopes her example will give others the hope to dream again when battling an unhappy relationship.
